About Kim
Businesses need practical approaches that show
immediate improvements.
My first passion was art. As I entered the world of web design and project management, I found I was just as interested in creating a positive work environment as I was in the creative work itself. Workplace culture became a new canvas to work with and an exciting new challenge. Leveraging a creative mindset with a tendency to cross-pollinate ideas and solutions across a company, I was driven by a deep desire to make the workplace a more fulfilling and productive experience for everyone.
Moving around through non-profits, education, and the public sector I became fascinated by how some organizations thrived while others failed. There was often a disconnect between how leadership thought things were going and the reality of how employees and customers felt. While my training is rooted in theory and frameworks, I know from experience that’s just the starting point! Businesses need practical approaches that show immediate improvements.
I am a synthesizer by nature; perhaps a good description for any IO Psychologist or artist. I enjoy taking in all the details of the work and people’s feelings, and reflecting back an improved design, structure, and process that allow people to thrive. I believe in a healthy balance of qualitative and quantitative data to gain the most insights and make the best decisions.
